About the author
The site created and maintained by a teacher who lives and works in a rural city in Australia. He has worked in a mixed PC-Mac environment since 1995, except for a period of 13 months 1999-2000 when he worked as an instructional designer in a PC-only environment. In addition to teaching Drama, the author helps students and teachers learn more about using technology: both Macs and PCs. He holds several education degrees and diplomas in education but has no formal training in Information Technology being completely self-taught. He has set up and maintained a Mac based network (as well as his home network) without assistance and has installed software, hard disks and optical drives in PCs (as well as in Macs of course).

While small parts of this site are based on material created by Apple Computer the author has no connection whatever with that company.

If you disagree with any of the content or the conclusions made here the author would very much like to hear from you. Please email

Do not confuse the author of this site with this Microsoft employee (2003 link, requires free registration) or who might also be this person.
